10 Bollywood And TV Celebrities Who Embraced Parenthood Through Surrogacy

New ZEE5 original film Badnaam Gali revolves around the subject of surrogacy, the stigma attached to it and motherhood. Recently, there were reports that suggested that superstar Salman Khan is set to embrace fatherhood through surrogacy. Although there is no official word out yet, we have rounded up a list of ten actors who have taken the route in the past. Salman’s dear friend and Bollywood’s Badshah Shah Rukh Khan and wife Gauri Khan had a son AbRam through surrogacy.

Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan has two children from his first marriage with Reena Dutt – Junaid and Ira. However, after his second wife Kiran Rao had a miscarriage, the couple opted for surrogacy and welcomed Azad Rao Khan in 2011.

After adopting a 21-month-old baby girl Nisha Kaur Weber from Latur, Sunny Leone and husband Daniel Weber became parents to twin boys Asher and Noah. The couple’s biological kids were born through surrogacy.

Following the footsteps of her baby brother Tusshar, TV tsarina Ekta Kapoor too opted for surrogacy and welcomed baby boy Ravie Kapoor on 27th January 2019.
