Read the edited excerpts of our exclusive conversation with the star below.
Q. What would you like to change in the coming year of your life?
I was never ambitious. I have never been ambitious. Work has come to me, I have been lucky. I have goodwill. I love working. But, for the first time in my life, which happened around a year and a half ago, a lot of things happened to me at that point. There was a lot of realization, learning, and understanding about my own self. I realized my self-worth. I have become ambitious for the first time in my life, at this stage. I am also lucky because the platforms are offering me that. Today, it doesn’t matter. Tomorrow they will be writing a series on a 60-year-old. So, I have become very ambitious, I want to do a lot of work. And for the first time in my life, I never thought of this earlier, I want to grow and make it big. I am being very honest. I want to grow, I want to make it big. It’s late in life perhaps for certain people, but I know I will. I want to make a change. I want to evolve in my work. I want to change with time and I want to do everything my industry offers me because there is nothing more beautiful than where I belong.
Q. You also mentioned of being selfish in an interview earlier…
I was meditational courses along the way. I understood the concept of selfishness. You are so complete within when you are selfish that the integration outside changes. Your energy changes and that’s what you attract. When people are completely selfish on their own and look out for their own benefit, the exterior by default changes. So when you come together, you come together as individual pillars who hold the ceiling together instead of it all being an imbalance and creating havoc on a larger picture. That’s what I mean by being selfish.
Here’s wishing Achint Kaur, a very happy birthday. More power to you, superwoman, you.
