In April 2019, we had confirmed that superstar Kareena Kapoor Khan shall make her television debut as a judge on Dance India Dance: Battle of the Champions. Kareena shall judge the seventh season of the Zee TV dance reality show, accompanied by Bosco Martis and Raftaar. The promo of Dance India Dance 7 was released recently by the channel and oh boy, it has hot mama KKK written all over it. The glamorous competition is a Bebo show all the way! Buzz is that the Veere Di Wedding actress became the highest paid debutant in telly town with her stint. Scroll further to read what Kareena said about the same.

“Honestly, I don’t get into the numbers, but I do believe that female stars deserve their due and I feel strongly about pay parity,” the 38-year-old replied to a leading daily in an interaction. The star stayed away from the TV medium in her nearly two-decade-long career. Speaking about her selection, she told the portal, “I have made a conscious decision to not crowd myself with too much work. I’m happy doing good projects, which give me the flexibility to enjoy life on my terms.”

Elaborating on her stint as a co-judge, Kareena was quoted by the daily as saying, “I’m not a trained dancer and learnt it on the job. So, I’m going to approach this role in a fun manner. We are not only looking for great dancers on DID, but also performers and stars, who can captivate the audience.” Is Dance India Dance the beginning of Kareena’s TV career? “I’m open to any prospect, provided that it excites me,” she responded.
