EXCLUSIVE! Krystle D’souza: I Will Pick Aditya Thackeray Over Ambani, Mittal

In an exclusive chat, we asked the Fittrat actress to choose between real-life, rich bachelors Aditya Thackeray, Kavin Mittal, and Jai Anmol Ambani.

Krystle Dsouza and Aditya Thackeray

Krystle D’souza features in Fittrat in a never-seen-before role of a gold-medalist turned gold-digger Tarini Bisht. The actress, who has immortalized some of Indian television’s iconic bahu and beti roles, makes her foray into the web world with the ZEE5 Original and ALTBalaji Original series. During an exclusive conversation, we asked Krystle if she had to pick a real-life rich and eligible bachelor for herself from Aditya Thackeray, Kavin Mittal and Jai Anmol Ambani, who would it be? She chose the Thackeray scion!

“I think I will pick Aditya Thackeray because I know only him out of these three. Plus, I think he is my age? We were in the same college,” replied Krystle. Proded further about choosing someone from any field and part of the world, she answered, “If it had to be anyone from anywhere in the world, I will still choose apna desi Ranbir Kapoor!” Ahem ahem.

Krystle shares screen space with Anushka Ranjan and Aditya Seal in Fittrat. We also quizzed her on why she chose the digital drama in particular as her maiden series and she responded saying, “Purely the storyline. I didn’t know it was going to be shot on such a grand scale. I didn’t know who my co-stars were going to be. I didn’t know my director would be such an amazing person. I just thought to myself that this is something you have never done before, go for it. I asked my mom once if she will be okay, she said beta if you’d be okay, I will be okay, it’s a job. So, I thought if my mom can understand, I am sure others can too. Because my mom is very jazbaati.”

She further adds, “The turning point to do a web show was the script. The scripts offered earlier were never so powerful. A dearth of good scripts kept me away for so long from the web. If I am offered a good script, I will do it whether it’s a theatre play or a film or a TV show, anywhere.”

Fittrat started streaming on ZEE5 18 October 2019 onwards. Seen it yet?
