Television actress Shraddha Arya, seen as the female lead Dr. Preeta Arora on Zee TV show Kundali Bhagya, recently suffered a back injury. The actor, as reported by an entertainment news portal, injured herself while performing a stunt on another TV show she made a guest appearance on. The report further states that Shraddha lost balance and slipped, which caused the injury. She is set to take part in a dance reality show by Salman Khan, but reports of her back injury gave rise to speculations that she may opt out. However, the actress hasn’t confirmed anything yet.

Quoting a source from the sets, the report added, “Shraddha has shot for the premiere episode but actress is in a lot of pain and is unable to move her hand. This is causing difficulty for her choreographer to sketch out any step for her. There are chances that actress may opt out from the show and not have a long journey.” Meanwhile, Shraddha confirmed in a statement given to the website that she indeed suffered an injury and is seeking physiotherapy for the same. “It’s a back injury over my left rib cage and oblique muscle. But my recent physiotherapy sessions are helping. So, I’ll get okay soon, hopefully,” she told the portal.

Shraddha started out in 2004 with Zee Cine Stars Ki Khoj and became a household in a short amount of time. Her portrayal of Preeta has earned her a global fanbase spanning across Indonesia, Turkey and other countries. While her fans couldn’t contain their excitement as Shraddha was gearing up to showcase her sizzling moves on national television, it remains to be seen if she will be seen on the show or not. She has shot for the premiere of the reality show, however.

We wish Shraddha a speedy recovery and hope to see her dance soon!
