Posham Pa teaser is not for the weak-hearted. You’ve been warned.
Posham Pa is an upcoming ZEE5 Original psychological thriller film, starring Mahie Gill, Sayani Gupta, and Ragini Khanna in the lead. Imaad Shah and Made In Heaven fame Shivani Raghuvanshi too appear in important roles in the movie. Scheduled to premiere on 21 August 2019, Posham Pa traces the story of India’s first female death row inmates. Inspired by true events, the narrative focuses on the life of a disturbed mother who coerces her daughters into a life of heinous crime. The teaser released on the OTT platform offers a glimpse of the disturbing and gripping tale of three women.
Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3 actor Mahie essays the role of a Maharashtrian lady, as is seen in the video. Donning a typical traditional avatar, she is shown as the mother of two kids. The 40-second teaser begins with Mahie closing the door and locking her girls inside while they sing the Posham Pa song and play. Next, we are offered a look of Sayani’s deranged character, who is in jail. The teaser further shows rushes of blood splashing onto a plate or rice, Mahie running with her two daughters, Ragini playing with a kid and newspaper clippings based on cases of murder. Towards the end, we see a firm Mahie tell someone, ghar ki baat ghar mein he rakhneka, main bolti hai. (Keep our personal matters in between us, don’t reveal them outside.)
