After delivering evergreen classic hits as I Love You (Mr. India), Ruk Ruk Ruk Arre Baba Ruk (Vijaypath) amongst others, Alisha Chinai took to revolutionising the Indian music scene. In a departure from her playback singing, she went on to release her private albums that established Indie-pop as a music genre successfully in India. This ‘Made in India’ girl, also popular nicknames like Indian Madonna, Baby Doll amongst others, recently graced Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs 2019.
The chartbuster hit music maker was the latest guest to make an appearance on the Zee TV reality show. She took a seat on the panel alongside season regulars Shaan, Richa Sharma, and Amaal Malik. The young contestants greeted her with one of her award-winning tracks: Kajra Re. Thereon, we saw Pickosa offer a rendition of Alisha’s Made in India while Bhavish Mattu settled for a Daler Mehendi number.
